I'd just like to add some location data for this palm. In Vietnam, I've personally seen it growing as far south as Cat Tien National Park which is between Bien Hoa and Da Lat. It's habitat would then seem to spread to Central Vietnam, the picture on this page being taken at My Son which is a temple complex that lies to the south west of Da Nang.
