Pronunciation: lin-uh-SPAY-dix mon-uh-STACK-ee-ose

Common Name: Walking Stick Palm

Linospadix monostachyos so far seems to be the easiest grow in California of all the Linospadix species. This palm is native to the rain forests of eastern Australia, and despite its moist, tropical rainforest origins, it has some surprising tolerance of some of our more arid and temperate California climates.
