Description

Physical Characteristics, Height:Up to 1.8m (6ft) Spread:Up to 1.5m (5ft) Growth Habit:Clumping, Trunk Type:No Crownshaft, Brown Canelike. This is an Understory palm. Trunk Diameter:Up to 20mm (0.75") Leaf Type:Palmate, Leaf Size:Up to 0.6m (2ft) Leaf Colour:Dark Green, Silver Underside, Light:Partial Shade, Soil:Moist, Well Draining, Watering:Regular,Maintain Moisture, Min. Temp:4°C (39°F) Tolerances:Full Sun, Poor Soil, Germination:1-6 Months, 28-32°C ( 82-90°F) This is an Understory palm.

Culture

Sheltered, shady and moist, through to the sub-tropics.
