Lauderdale, Florida. About 50 members enjoyed food, cold beverages, and a tour of over 100 cultivars of crotons. This was all followed by an auction of some very rare and unusual crotons. John Bender, Mosaic, Magnificent, Irene Kingsley, and Caribbean Star were a few of the over 100 donated crotons up for auction. Many of these came from members' collections and are not commonly seen. It was hot and humid (hey, it is summer in South Florida!), but everyone left with at least a smile. Most left with at least a new croton for their collections.
