Chamaedorea pedunculata

Pronunciation: kam-uh-DOOR-ee-uh peh-dunk-you-LAHT-uh

Common Name: none

Chamaedorea pedunculata is another less than unique looking solitary species with wider leaflets. It does have very long flower peduncles that can extend beyond the leaves. Otherwise it would be hard to tell it apart from most of the others in this 'category'. Really not in active cultivation and that is not likely to change. But there are plants growing and doing well in California.
