Yes! Lamar, this is what I refer to as Yellow Iceton. This is the other plant that I need. I acquired the Arrowhead already from another member.
Yes, it's a Yellow Mrs Iceton.
Wow...next Saturday I hope to see all of you.
Is anyone bringing a Claude Lorraine?
No,I am bringing Tan Wi Kiat,John Halgim Jr,plus Bonnie's Beauty and Fascination
I'll be bringing a Sybil Griffin, Boca Pink, en's Beauty, and an un-named hybrid.
I'm not sure what will be ready, but I'll have Green Dragon, a Stan Wood un named, Quirko & Pink Lei. I want to make sure they're rooted well & I may just cut off a few air layers that morning. What food to bring?
I have a few coming, Catherine Gephardt, Louis Duprey, Class Act, Milky Way, and more. Were suppose to have great weather too.
So disappointed I will miss the auction/tour. I have too many assignments to grade before progress reports are due on Monday, so my weekend is going to spent catching up on school work. Have a great time. Looks like you will have nice weather.
Bringing a Doris Decker, Sidewalk Thai, and The Pearl
What a wonderful day today. Mike Harris has truly one of the nicest gardens in all of south Florida. I thought we had a great turnout of people, a great selection of food, crotons for the auction and nice weather. And so nice to see so many nice people.
Jeff & Andrea
Our thanks to you Mike, and to all who helped put the gathering together and those who brought food and plants and conducted the auction. We had a wonderful time! It was sooo good to see everyone after such a long time - Pete too. We brought home so many beautiful plants. It's always a treat to see your spectacular garden.
Jim and I want to Thank Mike for hosting a great garden party! Your garden was beautiful! It was great seeing all the “palmnuts and crotonheads”! The auction was fun and the selections were great! Awesome! Thank you!!!!
Many thanks to Mike Harris for hosting and to everyone else who attended. Nice plants, good food, and excellent friendship. No pics from me this time; got to check batteries for camera before leaving home... Noted Ryan taking lots of pics so hopefully he'll post a load of them later. Stay well until the next get-together.
A great tour and meeting. The weather could not have been better. I took 322 photos, spanning the tour and auction. Most are decent, I will post more when I figure out where to post them.
- An instance during the tour, passing one of the Tahina spectabilis...
- A scene from the auction.
Whenever I end up posting them, I will post a link, if they are going to be elsewhere.
Mike, Thanks so much for having us. As usual, your garden & grounds looked spectacular. Thanks to Jeff's auctioneering skills, I came home with more plants than I brought!
A huge thank you to Mike and all involved in making this happen. The property looked amazing! What a perfect day for a gathering of plant enthusiasts and friends.
Again...thank you all for coming...and Ryan...I see that Tahina every day...but not with two dozen tiny people and Pete under it.
I began the photo topic on the Garden Tour and Auction over at Palmtalk in the Tropical Plants subforum:
It is easier to post a large quantity of photos over there than here.
