A couple of lovely varieties that get lots of pink this time of year. The extreamly hot days and nights coupled with the regular rains is fuel for growth.

The first one is pretty rare, Thea. The second one is called Stain Glass.

Ricky,

Your Thea is just....plain....gorgeous!!! Mine is much smaller and I'm really looking forward to this getting as big as yours. Unfortunately, it's planted where no one can see it and appreciate it. I'll just have to plant another one or two in better spots.:)

Your group of four pictures, you listed the last one as Kentucky. It looks nothing like what I have and others I see around listed under this name. Their suppose to have a fair amount of orange and no pink in the laeves. What do others think??

Oct. 1 - 3 is the season to load up on some pink stuff. Just when Bren thought her wish list was final, here are some more to ponder! :p

You learn to hate and love the Croton Bug at the same time!

I like some pinks but am a huge fan of the orange varieties. Yellow is my least favorite and the color I have the most of due to lack of shade
