To make a long story short,I was told about this tree by Andy in San Diego who used to live on this street. I passed that along to a local expert who does gardening videos about Fremont.
Are there any Avocados up there? I always thought that Mangoes were on a par with Avocados as far as growing needs.
Avocados are like weeds. You've never been to the bay area? Its z 10a. A guy in Hayward was in the paper for growing pineapples in his front yard. Edible banana's. With me,its finding a spot that isnt shaded by my homes. Otherwise I would be growing coconuts....Right next to my Colorado Blue Spruce. The bay does a great job to moderate the climate. 7 million people add to the urban warming.
