Hi from Russia! My name is Dimych. Last year I began to be fond of codiaeums. As it has appeared we have many fans of this fine plant. The climate at us doesn't approach a little, but we do everything possible. We grow up in houses at windows. I will be glad to communicate with you!

These are my biggest. Petra and M. Aceton.

Welcome to the croton forum. Those are beautiful specimens of both plants, amazing that you were able to get them looking so good indoors. When I lived in a colder part of the country I did not even know what a croton was, now that I live in Florida I can't get enough of them. Thanks for sharing these photos. Karl

Today there was a successful day for hunting for codiaeums. Six shanks for 10 dollars. At us it is very rare grade.

Nice Dimych, keep up the good work. Croton's can get under your skin we all can testify to that. Best wishes fellow croton head.

Hello! The collection is replenished, the plants grow.
Всем привет! Коллекция пополняется, растения подрастают.

Golden sun.

Rainbow.

Picasso's Paintbrush.

Thai variety "T-12"

Quirko(It seems to be like, if not right - tell me)

Monena(hybrid Mona lisa)
It certainly is not all. For the quality of the photo I'm sorry - I took pictures on the phone.
Это конечно ещё не все. За качество фото извините - фотографировал на телефон.

Hello Dimych, Where did you get the new crotons? They look great. Some interesting varieties. Your Picasso's Paintbrush has much longer leaves than the one I have, which I find appealing. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully Pix will be able to get some more to you if there is a way to ship that is not too expensive.

Thanks for the praise, Carl! It seems to me that the Picasso brush is very small and without color. For the bush to look dignified, I'll cut it and plant a few branches in one pot.
Surprisingly, this rare for us variety was found in the neighborhood, just 10 kilometers away from me. The girl as well as I love croton. It is a pity that the place for them is even less than mine.
Interesting varieties can be ordered from Thailand, but unfortunately sunlight is not enough for them.
We also buy or exchange interesting varieties by mail with the same croton lovers from different parts of the country.

Hello! Last time in shops began to sell croton very similar to this one. Any ideas on the name of the variety?
Всем привет! Последнее время в магазинах стали продавать кротоны очень похожие на этот. Есть идеи по названию сорта?

Hi, Sorry I haven't had much time to post, but the one in post #29 looks almost like "Black Beauty" that was quite rare a few years ago.
We are also inclined to the fact that this is "Black Beauty". Or " Curly Boy".
