A solitary or clustering pinnate palm, to about 4m. Leaflets are glaucous-green on the underside.

A smallish, clustering palm with green, cane-like stems and beautiful yellow crownshafts, that is native to rainforests on the Malay Peninsula at medium altitudes. (RPS.com)
