"Phillipine solitary pinnate species with some mottling of the leaves and a rose-cololred crownshaft usually with a prominent bulge near the base. Rare in cultivation." (Geoff Stein) Editing by edric.
A beautiful, mid-sized Pinanga native to the Philippines with a slender stem, a maroon crownshaft and a dense crown of arching leaves with wide leaflets. In cultivation it is best suited to tropical climates. (RPS.com)
