With most of my crotons under water stress my Rudy is bucking the trend and looking great.
Looks great! Mine had quite a bit of die back this winter. Its just beginning to leaf out again. I love this variety!
That Rudy is a beauty!
Another one to add to my wish list.
Scott - prepare yourself for some frustration, rather cold sensitive. Bren you did very well to keep your'ins alive. (Is your'ins gramatically correct? Saw it used on another not to be mentioned forum. )
Mike - your looks waaaaaaay better than mine.
I will be digging this one up and over wintering in the green house this year! It's a wimp. It would never last by you scott.
Never say never I was told that this one would not over winter here, but look at her now. No leaf loss over the winter.
Well, tropical gardening in FLA is all about trial and error. I wish your future Rudy well ;-)
Sincerly one of the best looking cultivars around. If you don't have a Rudy Bachman along with a Thomas Edison in your garden, you are depriving it of some fabulous colors!
