Wiki photos 2014

It's going slowly Dean. I'm through the G's! :gangnamstyle: Adding Codiaeum and croton every spot I can.

Ana, I'm reluctant to say this because you've already entered a lot - but, where you're entering Codiaeum, it really should be Codiaeum variegatum. There are other species of Codiaeum.

Oh Marie, I'm so glad you corrected me. There is no hurry to finish the settings on the cultivars. My intention is to get it right, and I wish everyone would mention anything they see that isn't correct so it can become the best resource available for all of us. That is what I want. Thank-you! And if there's anything else you or anyone else see, please, please tell me. Speaking of which, I was looking at Toby's plant under Columbiana. Could that be a Connie Cutler? what do you all think?

Marie, I think I'm caught up to the K's with variegatum!:D

Yeah! Thanks. I think the correct name for one of the above is Eleanor Fischler. John Bender named it for his first (I think) wife. She may have been his second wife.

Marie, I had that as Eleanor Fischler in the wiki and someone (I think it may have been Kurt Decker) corrected me and said the correct name for John Bender's wife was Fischer. They knew it for sure. I changed the wiki entry to Fischer at that point. Wish I could find that now. It's in the forum somewhere. If you're certain, I'll change it back. Anyone else have any other opinions/thoughts?

Ana,

When photos are horizontal (landscape mode), the photos will enlarge to full screen in the wiki. If they are vertical (portrait mode), they will be smaller and won't enlarge to full screen. They also affect adjacent landscape photos so they appear smaller on first sight. Just something to keep in mind when you take photos of your beautiful crotons. A mix of sizes can be nice, though!

Marie / Ana,

Honeycomb is an old name or used as another name for one of the Davis plants. If I had the first book from Frank in front of me, he states this I believe, but I don't. It's one of the Davis # plants. Frank told me this also many, many years ago. I don't know anyone that uses this name anymore, I stopped a long time ago.
