This one is sentimental for me. I worked at an old trailer at the Space Center back in the 90s and this croton was growing right outside the window. I got to look at it everyday. The view was the croton then the VAB behind it. It was a pretty sight. I got laid off in 2001 and the very next day as I was leaving for the last time, I snagged a couple cuttings from this croton. So luckily I got it in my yard and it is thriving. I got rehired three years ago and I went to where that old trailer was and its gone, along with the mother croton.

This guy goes through multiple personalities through the year. In the winter it is all red, in the summer it does this. Anyone know what kind it is? I haven't been very good at remembering croton names (too much other stuff in my head). Its one of my favorites and obviously a sentimental favorite.

It looks like a Krukonis but it could be Exotica. Man, there's a lot of different shaped leaves here!

    Dave,
That half yellow and half green oak leaf on the croton is fantastic!
    A real winner there!
