What were they thinking ?

    Here is a Mortii found in my neighborhood that was cut down for some unknown reason. :( The plant was approximately 16ft. tall. My my fully extended fruit picker measures 12ft. and is for for scale. I guess they are "re-landscaping". Cut down the croton and leave it prone on the ground for 4 days. Next allow all the "weed" trees to remain. It is a conceptulation that I am having a problem grasping. As the title of the thread states, what were they thinking ? :confused:

    What an arborist. By guy's technique and skill, he must of charged big money for the work. :rolleyes:

    The last photo has my #10 size croc for scale to demonstrate the demension of the trunks. :(
