The USF Botanical Gardens plant sale is this weekend, April 9th and 10th. Will the Croton Society be there?

    Thanks.

No - however some of us will be there looking for bargains, the rare and unusual,...

Just curious why the society passed on the opportunity?

Probably a lack of plants to sell not to mention that those that have been working it for the past ten years are getting a bit tired.

Always a unusual plant to find for the garden.

One word, winter. The stock the past two years has not been good.

Did anybody here attend the sale? I think I heard that Mark Peters made it over there. :) Was there any crotons available?

I attended the Sale Sat morning, the only Crotons I saw was a few Stoplights and another that I forgot the name of, but I already had it also. I got a few orchids and some Broms.

I bought a native Firebush and an Alcantarea brom to enhance the mosquito population.
