Unsure Again

    I picked this one up a few weeks ago & am unsure of a name. Does this look familiar to anyone? The leaves seem to come out with yellow centers, ala "Florence Black" then turn red. Hmmmm:confused:

    Blotched Angel Wing??? Blotched Gloriosum Superbum?? I'm guessing here.

    I was thinking a Blotched Excellent. Just did not want to commit my opinion here. Just speculation since I've never seen a Blotched Excellent. :p

    Interesting for sure ... :)

    The leaves look too dark for Excellent...

    ...and Excellent never shows any oak leaf characteristics. It looks like an Angel Wing sport to me.

    I took some fresh pics this morning. The first is the donor plant which is not much to look at. You can see where I removed the air layer, with a few blotched leaves left. It's now separated & on it's own. ;) I'll have to post pics in the spring after it flushes a few new leaves.
