Unknown Palms

  1. Anybody can help me out to identify those two palms?

    Very difficult to tell from these pics. And I am going to throw out two names with no degree of certainty. In fact, with very little confidence. But you can look through Palmpedia for these and see if they match up. And I am only going to guess the genus.
    1) Butia
    2) Coccothrinax

  3. The last two photos for sure is Coccothrinax, but i am not sure if is Argentea, Barbadensis or Proctorii, most probably is Bardadensis, i am not sure...

    Almost impossible to tell from just photos - too many variables with growing conditions, etc. There are lots of pics on Palmpedia to compare.

    Hard to ID from the first two pictures but I'm not convinced about Butia. I'm thinking juvenile Elaeis guineensis, more commonly called African Oil palm.

    Yep - the MooseMan is probably right.
