A few times a year I have an opportunity to pass by the Glock's freak show of a garden :D. I knew Jim & Judy wouldn't be there, but with Jim's Ok to post some photos, I took a bunch. While drooling over their magnificent Keys getaway, I noticed a pipeline from their irrigation, down to the building in the last photo DSC_0067.jpgDSC_0052.jpgDSC_0061.jpgDSC_0064.jpgDSC_0057.jpgDSC_0012.jpgDSC_0011.jpg. Ah ha! I knew it. The color & size of these plants are.... Well anyway, here they are

Getting those leaves as large as they are, in soil not fit to grow cactus, there's gotta be some nuclear interaction! Great shots of an amazing garden.

Randy,

Thanks for the great pictures. I just recently was told by a little birdie to watch out for these upcoming pixs. Hey Glock, jump in and add some names. That would be the very nice, Judy Glock of course. Lol! A nice collection, you must know of some real good sources for crotons. ha ha. A beautiful yard, no doubt!

A few more for now:p ** RESULTS NOT TYPICAL ** (just a disclaimer:D) All the plants were pretty close to perfect. Stay tuned, more to come.

Always a pleasure to see good pics (an attaboy to the photographer) of well-grown tropical plants (an attaboy to the Glocks) in a tropical environment (no 40 degree F nights down there)

Thanks for posting beautiful pics!

Post #12, middle picture, top row is a plant I purchased ten years ago from the Blaumans. It was labled Bonita, for what it's worth. I traded it with the Glocks a year or two ago. I just put several air layer on this plant if anyone is interested. Stained Glass, Lime Light, and Embassy are high on my list if anyone has one to trade.

Chris let's try to keep this thread alive. I know I would love the ride down to see this garden. All gardens in Keys offer unique opportunities to see different growing conditions and how they affect growth. I have been to the Key west garden tour years ago and had a great time visiting gardens. And don't forget lunch I'll have the hog snapper please. kip
