The Croton list has been compiled and the first draft consists of 162 cultivars. As many of you may know, Jeff is always pulling plants for the sale and is probably adding to this list as you are reading it. If I find out any additional names I will try and add them here. If I were to guess, I would say this list is at the 95% mark for completion, minus any surprise plants Jeff might throw in.

Woot - (W o o t) The emote or smiley in question, seems to fit the mood of plant enthusiasm.

The first draft of the Palm & Cycad list is now ready for inspection. It is an extensive list and more species will most likely be added in the coming days. With the 312 species and over 400 size groups, I would put the current draft at around 90% completion.

New additions to the palm list as of today. Many were recent additions, while a few were hiding along the sidewalk and missed the initial list. I will work on that .pdf request, but the Forum restricts the size of file attachments. I will see what I can do for a work around.

No hurrying this morning, looking forward to hanging with the crotonheads and picking up a couple of plants. All the previous dashs to the croton area has got me overwhelmed in the Moose Land.

A very sincere thank you to all that came out friday AND a few of you that came friday AND saturday. I really enjoyed talking to all of you, and appreciate those of you that drove long distances to get there.

Wow - the Plant Extravaganza is becoming quite the happening! I was happy to be able to go yesterday. The only croton buddy I got to say a quick "hi" to was Judy (who I had every intention of returning to for a chat, but I missed her on the way out :-( ...saw Jeff but he was busily educating someone on plants and didn't want to interrupt; and at least was able to wave goodbye to Andrea as I was being carted to my car with all my purchases) My new crotons are: Cameo, Illustris, Her Highness (which will fit in so nicely in my "white" garden), Mona Lisa, and a Pink Eburneum. On this trip, though the palms outweighed the crotons, which I'll post about in the palm section. Searle Family - I love, love, love this event. One of these days, I'm going to get there on a Friday!
