that cv simply blew my mind. being used to rather small hibiscus blooms, already 20 cm-sized ones (sorry - 7 inches) were really large..
and then along came Tahitian Queen - the rather small plant, of course in a small pot at my place hit >25 cm/10 inches with its first bloom!
'small' winterblooms are still around 20cm/7inches
The plant is really strong with thick dark leaves and considering the bloomsize/size of the plant a fairly regular bloomer. Blooms last four days but get really floppy and bleached from day two on.
definitely an eyecatcher...
