We are away much of the summer, but I manage to get back for a few weeks to check on things, pot up the airlayers etc. I always take a few photos to keep me going until I return.

Its unbelievable, every plant in perfect condition, every plant exhibiting exceptional color.

Jerry are you using reverse osmosis watering system ?

The Glocks have problems with iguanas in paradise, how do you keep them from eating your plants ?

If there was to be a new croton book and Jerry's crotons were used in the photos think of the controversy. The rest of the croton mortals would be wondering "why don't mine look like the one in the book"?

Stunning as usual, and like Phil said, what a great way to wake up on a Monday morning and to see these. The Madam Butterfly and Flamingo are just outrageous. But what's the history behind your Davis plant?

Oh my goodness, Jerry, I'm going to have fun with these! They bring such pleasure to my eyes! Thanks so much for posting them. Please keep posting all your beauties. That Gonzales and Mosaic are out of this world. Yes, it's great to have plants in the wiki that are something to aspire to. Thanks! My coffee went down so smoothly this morning. A great start to a Monday, as Phil said.:D

Great plants as always, that Majesticum needs to go into the Wiki.It is a pretty slow plant but one of my favorites.

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments. I think you actually made me blush this morning.

Jeff, I believe the Davis came from Chris at the 'silent auction' tour you had your place a couple of years ago. Is that possible Chris?

Waiting for Pixie is really something...poor Jodi. Doc said this morning, everything looks great, Pixie could come tonight or anytime in the next two weeks. So I guess I'll post some more pictures.

I just hope you don't interpert it as "in your face bragging" or anything. I'm completely devoted to these plants & hobby. I'm pushing my plants hard. I'm very focused on eliminating any form of plant stress...24/7. My goal is to reach maximum potential for the plant, and to have bigger leaves than Judy's, which can only be attained by creating perfect conditions and thus making for an extremely happy plant. In a few days, I'll bump Rickies thread on the "science of growing crotons in the keys" or something like that and share some of my observations and thoughts. Onward through the Fog...

I think all the expressions of praise have already been used and rightly so. Not only are you doing a phenomenal job growing your crotons but you take great pictures too and you so willing share them with us. Thank-you... Please, just keep them coming!

Jerry, I could look at your plants all day! Please don't hesitate to post them! The more, the better, I know everyone is with me here. Your hard work and wonderful conditions make for incredible plants. Thanks for giving us something to aspire to.

Now, Jerry, your observation of 'perfect conditions' are what? Can you tell us? What is your 'perfect lighting'? What about your perfect soil, fertilization regimen, etc? I'm sure you've tried different things and studied it. What's worked the very best for you? I'm still struggling with finding what's perfect lighting for my plants, what to do for fertilizing, etc. You've been at it longer with amazing results. I'd love to hear how you do it!

I've been a fan of yours and your Croton Garden for awhile now and you never disappoint with your exquisite cultivars.

The problem with that is how do you top the previous post? Just please keep on posting my friend, keep on posting so we can all see how its done !!! :D

Jerry,

I'm a little disappointed in the leaf size of your Monarch. Then again, you might of forgot to fertilize that plant when you did all the others. Lol. I'm watching.........
