    Seeing them used in a grove and then the boots and old fronds(most) removed to reveal a smooth trunk that disappears into a lush green crown of fronds makes for a nice look. IF you were to buy a home like this,it would be a good start for more a exotic palms to fill in. Unless you are die hard and want to start from scratch of course.
    I liked it.

    California would be a much different place if all the Washingtonias suddenly disappeared. Certainly a palm taken for granted.

    It also shows Dean- take serious care of those palms and they look world class. This guy spent some bucks to have old fronds and old boots removed- last year.
