These all look correct. But I'm still wondering what the real differences are, between President Reagan and Richard Krukonis are. I have plenty of President Reagan from the Krukonis property in North Dade, and I have one plant of the true RK from Dr. Brown. But my RK plant is still small and looks almost identical in colors and leaf shape. I guess I'm just going to have to wait until it gets bigger.
From the photos I've seen, the real RK has the most distinguishable oak leaves of any croton. That's got to be one of the most sought after crotons out there.
I purchased what was labled as a Corot and another as a Regan - and i'll be darned if I can see any difference between the two. Yes, there's some variation - about what one would expect between two colorful genetically unstable plants. Check them both out if you visit here in Dec. The leaf shape of RK makes it unique (to me at least) of the oak leaf varieties.
Ray - did your Corot survive?
Yes but NR did not.
Ray - You are more than welcome to get big cuttings of my Norman Rockwell or do you want me to start an airlayer for you? Anything to help you with your "rehab"!
