    Snow Queen. hibiscus... what else. but I just managed to snatch a variegated vanilla orchid from the local hardware store/garden center :D poor thing was on the half-prize shelf

    is that variegated palm a Rhapis?

    Yes Nina - it is a Rhapis. As you may know, variegated Rhapis are a huge thing in Japan, sometimes getting huge amounts of money for certain cultivars - like they do with Koi over there.

    Good luck with that orchid. I don't think I have seen one of those before.
