I see some pink down below. Does this cultivar usually exhibit pink?
This one looks very much like Oak Leaf Superba??My Superba starts yellow and gradually turns pinkish red.
This one is a fast and robust grower, yellow splotches near the base of the veins eventually turning pink. Needs medium light to look best. Mine is big, ready for air layers in the spring.
Hi Mike, Oakleaf Superba is different than sie McGuillicutty . Oakleaf Superba has larger leaves with bigger shoulders and most of the time they have red blotches and the leaves are not pink underneath. They may look similar but they are not.
