Old Croton At Viscaya

I found this real old croton cultivar at Viscaya Museum - the incredible "palace" built by Charles Deering of John Deere fame. This beautiful home and garden is located on Biscayne Bay and is open to the public as a Miami-Dade County Park. I believe this is called Morti.

The first image is showing the croton at over 15 Ft. tall.

2nd image is base of the trunk. The fire extinguisher is for scale and is 8 inches in diameter.

3rd image is at the 5 ft mark above ground level. My camera case and hand for scale.

This plant has certainly seen many sunrises and sunsets in it's day. 30-40 years old maybe, who knows for sure. Thanks!
