Well, I finally have my first newborn at the new house. I suspect I may have weeded previous sprouts or the dogs squashed them. I was happy to find this after spending the day spraying organicide for scale. My neighbors were traveling for turkey day so I didn't feel bad about the fishy smell. The scale has invaded my mango & ixora now.

Keith has a philosophy that seedlings that sprout on their own are tougher then those propagated. Makes sense that wimpier seedlings never make it this far.
