New Ptychococcus Paradoxus Spear

How happy was I yesterday when I saw my newly planted Ptychococcus paradoxus throwing out a new spear with blush coloring on it? I didn't know that this was one of the great characteristics of this beautiful palm. At some point, I'll have to get some trunk detail pics.

As I am unfamiliar with that palm, I didn't know they had such a nice new leaf either. Overall, that is one beautiful palm - and grown well too. I would enjoy some trunk detail if you get a chance.

Its still very rare in cultivation. Very nice Tim, looks extremely happy.
