New camera, new photos!

    Ok, so I have had the camera 2 days, a Nikon D3100, and used a 55-200MM lense

    excuse me if the files are too big or there are any problems at all!!

    any camera experts, give some tips!

    Nice photos. There's a ton of that Pencil Calathea at Home Depot. Thanks for the reminder. I need to fill in around the pond.

    Nice pictures, great looking day and congrat's on your new camera. The guard dogs will certainly keep the rift raft out of the yard too. Hope you have more....

    Ahh Ryan, maybe we can see the pictures from the November 19th Garden Tour meeting soon?

    Congrats on the Nikon, Rob. ;) I have the D90. It looks like your white balance is off a little (too much light). Check out "Ken Rockwell's" Nikon free tip site on line. It has the best info on custom settings for your model camera. Don't be afraid to experiment as dig photos are free & you could always go back to the original factory settings by pushing a few buttons. I have it as app on my iphone for convenience & refer to it almost daily.
