Fishbone, Laurens Rainbow and "Luna "(?)... How much sun for Fishbone?
After getting the L. Rainbow it made me think this Croton (pic 1) that I purchased last year as "Candy" is really a L Rainbow(pic2) that has lost its color. But what do I know! What do you think?
The Fishbone has a 'boney' pattern but is not the orginal, one and only Fishbone. I've got several fishyboney patterned yellow and green crotons but there's only one Fishbone - even if a Pinellas Cty nursery sells that as Fishbone - nice plant though and I got one about two weeks ago to fill in an empty space in almost full sun.
There was thread on Fishbone a while back and some of its look-alikes. Here's a pic of one with a boney pattern; leaves are about 1/2 size of Fishbone
Phil, I did not think it looked quite like the Fishbone that I had seen pics of. Thanks I will put a name of "Fakey Fishbone" on it for now.
Fakey or not, I like the bright yellows and contrasting dark greens on that croton Scott!
Ok, lets make this a ID needed thread These 4 need real IDs. So lets play the game "Name That Croton"....
Separate names with a comma.
