  1. the flowered sections have small eleptical seeds

    Bren, the cluster of 3 is agave attenuata. More common in the cooler California weather areas, but does ok here. I have a cluster myself and I think it's a beautiful agave. I don't know what the flowering one is, and the one you have looks a little different to me, but there are zillions of agaves, so it's difficult to say exactly what it is unless you're familiar with a particular one. Yours is beautiful, whatever it is.

    Your Agave looks to me like Agave desmettiana. Winston
