New to the forum and pretty new to crotons. I always had a few in the garden but just recently got the bug. Anyways, i just bought some of the little Exotic Angel plants they sell at the big box stores and they are obviously not what they were labeled. First one was labeled Petra.

Second one was labeled Moora. Never heard of this one. The closest match I can find is Freckles. ??

Thanks for the quick response. I can't believe i didn't think of Magnificent, i thought i had scored with that one. As far as Pinocchio, is this the same as Freckles or different plants entirely?

Jerry - for a side by side comparison:

    First one is Pinocchio

Next three are Freckles. Last two are before it got planted. Freckles has larger leaves and stays spotted. Pinocchio has spots and "flecks" of color.

By the way, Magnificient is a fabulous croton. It was much sought after and expensive not that many years ago. They are doing mass cuttings in Costa Rica that are making their way into the Big Box stores.

Keep the photos coming - we love new faces!
