David is there any chance you picked up this plant from me around 2-3 years ago??
Looks like a nice Norma.
No i have 5 plants all from local cuttings .I actually went back to get more cuttings but the owner wasnt there . I have them in 5 different spots but the colors stay the same in sun and no direct sun Do you have a picture of yours ? is it Norma ?
Nice plant and does not look like Norma to me,I had a similar plant that croaked in my transition from Davie to Plantation.
The pointed leaf tip says Norma to me. I don't know if I have seen a Bonita in a very long time.
It's a pretty croton, but I'm pretty confident it's not a Norma OR Gloriosa. But I will also state I'm not confident on a real Bonita identification.
My guess came from page 410 in Tropica. Is gloriosum the same as gloriosa?? Pretty plant David, nicely grown!
HERE IS WHAT I HAVE AS NORMA usuually has 2 or 3 colors
Here is what i have as gloriosa ...Usually bigger and rounder leaves & more burgandy
Bonita was just a guess . Ive never seen one . But im pretty sure its not Gloriosa or Norma .
Here is a picture from 1 month earlier to today .................
Might mean nothing but they all have Red stems with a yellow 3/8 inch yellow spot before the leave ... i just noticed today ...different
Could also be Rosie O'Grady.
The first two photos look like a different plant from the rest.
Do you have a picture of one by any chance ??? thanks Yes the first 2 pics are wrong
