Ray in Tampa gave me a cutting last spring of Helen Edge. I love this croton. The colors, the large leaves, and the growth habit are excellent. I potted this into a rectangular planter to make the leaves even more pronounced.

    What do you think?

Who is Helen Edge? I think Ray said "Helen Edge." Am I mistaken?

If Perry Edge would show up here occasionaly, he could tell you directly. He found the sport in the St. Pete area, grew it , made a limited distribution, and named it after his mother? dautghter? wife - I forget. Also forget what the parent plant was.

According to the Wiki - Perry named it after his mother. :)
