    Nice plant but does not look much like the Elaine on the pics. My large one was a casualty of full sun after the shading Sabal died of TPD plus two crappy winters.

    This showed up in a local big box store (and is not Elaine); mature leaves are dark red with lighter spots and dots.

    Phil - Yours are also Elaine, but with the nodes a bit further apart.
