Due to the running out of space for additional crotons, this future bed is a work in progress. A 20 year old Chamaerops humilis was removed. An old Queen palm trunk was also removed. Plus there was a 25 ft tall Queen that was completely shading out the whole area. It was given herbicide poured into holes drilled into the trunk. Its crown collasped and foundmother earth just two days prior to the garden tour. Unfortunately one of the wayward fronds put a hurting on C & B. So much more light now.

Another Queen was also sent to palm heaven in the same manner. Its crown is leaning over and should come tumbling down soon. Then I'll start figuring out what should get planted here. Wonder how many crotons I can squeeze in here?
