My last two mornings had lows of 37 F. I gave everything a good dose of water. My crotons in containers were placed on the southern side of the house with two layers of shade cloth with plastic tarp on top. They were heavily watered before sundown before being covered. When I get home from work I will unwrap and see how I did. I feel I have dodged a bullet however, its only the beginning of our cold season. :(
