    I think one of the nicer and more unusual crotons. BTW, does anyone know who's hybrid this is?

    Halgrim from the west coast if im not mistaken.

    Jeff, where did you get yours? Halgrim did have a hybrid named Freckles -I think it
    was a slow and weak grower but Durko was selling one also named Freckles, but it
    was different than Halgrims.

    many people also call Pinoccio, freckles, which is a mistake.

    The true Freckles cultivar appears to be very uncommon. :( I have only seen a few in collectors gardens.

    Mine survived the January 2010 debacle better than most crotons with little if any defoliation. It keeps its spots in a fair amount of shade and is a slower cultivar. It is a Halgrim plant.
