Look what I found today. The backside of Gold Dust killed to the ground in the winter of 09-10 and given up for dead. It has returned from the ground but as what?

Will be nice if it keeps that dark color.

Resentment. Any croton that takes that long to come back must have that name.

Is it still attached to the mother plant? or a nice seedling in very close proximity?

I dug around the root with my finger and it is attached under the soil to the dead stump of the mother plant. The color spots are more green than yellow.
