I noticed back in the Summer that my Phoenix reclinata looked to had branched some 15' up on one of its trunks. I took a look at it every now and then through the passing months. I was able to get a close up look today as the winds broke it from the tree. Was I surprised as it was not a branch from the trunk at all. The growth was on the base of a flower stalk.

Every once in awhile you get a palm doing really trippy things. (Kinda like some people I know) :)

That reminds me of that weird Queen Palm you had. What ever became of that? Did it survive?

I often ask myself that question. I have not received any updates from its new owners.
