OK, I admit it, some of my first crotons were Petra. Today I noticed my yellow Petra has male flowers. Can't recall ever seeing any of mine or anybody else's Petra flowering.

The Petra's flower often in my garden. I have a few older plants from the colorful Petra. The Yellow Petra has flowered male flowers since late summer. I used the pollen on my Diane female flowers and it looks like it worked. Now I see the female flowers forming on the Yellow Petra. Img_8003.jpg

Here is a 5 yr old Petra seed plant. Not a lot of great color, but some leaves look great. pizap.com14382977705251.jpg IMG_0637.JPG IMG_0639.JPG IMG_0645.JPG pizap.com14382920721561.jpg
