Bren - bring your shovel; I need to dig a hole in a root infested area to plant a small cycad.
Anyone else having issues posting photos?
Let's see. Here's a few photos (if I'm lucky...)
Pics showed up ok but no text. the above pics were of the side yard. Let's see what happens now if I can post a some pics with this text. Yes, two more of the yard
Looks like it's working over here.
onward through the fog....
Looks great Phil. Just bad timing for me. Missed the Searles Sale now this------what the????
Will do Phil!
Just beautiful Phil. I don't know why I can't post photos. It works just fine on palm talk & other sites. I just get an error message without any explanation. Mmmmmmmmm
Phil, your place is looking spectacular! I can't wait to see it in person.
Randy, have you asked Dean for help? He probably has some ideas/suggestions.
Phil, Unfortunately Gerry & I will not be able to make it for your tour & auction. I regret it and hope to someday see your garden which looks so beautiful in the pictures. I know it will be a wonderful day and will be thinking about everyone. Hope you will post lots of pictures. Marnie
Is anyone bringing an Inca that I can either bid on or buy? I'd like to go home with one.
If nfoone brings one, you're welcome to a wonky air layer that never quite took; a month in a bag and you'd be all set.
Tim, I have one I'll bring. I don't think you saw it when you were here.
Thanks Ana, Dean's working on it. I'm baffled!

A few more for the auction,

Joyce Marie Cannon
Some early auction arrivals from Lee and Ron Parlett. Buried in the pics are the following plus other nice one
Bloody Hell the Dinasors came out of hiding.......that is humor and said very lovingly. Plants look great by the way.
Queen Emma & Quirko
Trinidad & Togago
More auction plants. Buried in the pics are:
Seminole Queen (s)
wierd how the pics sort themselves out....
FOOD - what to bring? have had a few questions on this. Here's what I'll provide:
Bottled Water; paper plates, cups, plastic forks, etc.
Coffee and donuts and OJ for any early birds.
A Cubanito ring from Publix - A big Cuban sandwich in circular form that's supposed to serve about 18 with light appetites.
Suggested additions: Fried or Roast chicken, potato/noodle salad; green salad w/ dressing; casseroles; deserts; your favorite alcoholic beverages; any special diet items if you're vegan, gluten free, kosher or halal, sugar free, etc.
There's a Publix in a shopping center near the corner of US19 and 54th St/Pinellas Bayway for last minute stuff; it's a 2 min drive from my place.
I'm guesstimating 15-20 attendees based upon RSVPs and last turnout here.
So many great plants! Just when I promised myself almost no more crotons. It's going to be very hard. Gotta keep my willpower.... Oooomphhhhh.
Glad to see you posting photos again, Randy.
Thanks for the info, Phil.
"almost", Ha ha ha ha
The first step Randy is to admit you are powerless over the Croton bug.
Aside from crotons, if you have room & extra broms or ti plants, bring them. I will gladly buy them. Extras of other tropicals? Palms? PM me. I have space to fill, weeding open mulch filled areas is killing me. I also have this pink powder puff free to a good home
...and continuing with the tour of the back yard:
Great pics you have been busting you butt the farm looks fantastic. TKS
I hope to be there after a long absence.
Ray...it will be great to see you and have you join the group. Maybe remind you of some of the great weather that's right around the corner. Lol.
So Phil, what time should we be there on Saturday?
The yard looks great! I look forward to seeing it and adding a few more stains to the old clothes. Lol!
Hope we get a comprehensive photo essay of this meeting. Especially shots of the auction plants with names. I'm very sad I was unable to attend so I am depending on a cyber tour and auction.
Need a Croton fix, someone with a smartphone, post a quick photo pleeeeease!
9:45 am and ready for the guests
th is the first to arrive
others soon show up; lots of crotons exiting vehicles
sorry for the triple post on the pics... more
...and still more crotons; don't ask me what the names are; trying to bid on some, take pics, and keep track of three different accounts....
Separate names with a comma.
