The Exoticas have liked the rainey summer - the leaves have doubled in size. Can't wait for them to color up.

Marie - Are you certain that's Exotica? Randy and I found this at a building in Ft. Lauderdale today. I'm not sure whether it's Exotica or Irresistible or something else entirely.

Ray - Is there a confirmed photo of Exiter somewhere? Any history on the name? I've been looking through The Book and can't find anything that looks like what we've found.

Ricky,

The only reference I have is one of the Croton Society calendars dating back a few years. Lee and Keith are also aware of this plant. This is one of those cultivars that you hear mentioned but is not listed in print.

These pics are of the unloved "mother" plant taken in November 2010. This is the plant our cuttings came from. These may help in the ID, maybe.

Wow, Tim, that has really grown. It was a tiny plant at the TFEPS Auction in Oct. 2013. You definitely know what you're doing!

I just went out to photo the Exotica here that's in good color. I didn't get the best pictures because I just held the camera as high as I could and shot without seeing but the color is there.

You didn't do it justice. That's a beautiful plant you have there. Mine hasn't missed a beat.
