Unfortunately Jeff's lovely wife Suchin was not able to accompany us the day we were at their garden. All these photos were taken at the garden of Jeff and Suchin Marcus.

    Hey.....it's me!

On a serious note, what an absolute pleasure being able to fly over to Hawaii recently to visit my son Travis, and then to top it off, fly to the big island and get to spend some good quality "palm time" at my good friend Jeff Marcus's garden and........to have good friends like Angela and Dean drive over for the day to join us. I really enjoyed my day with everyone, it was non-stop palm excitment well into the evening. I just wished I could of had more time and been able to spend some time at Dean and Angela's place over in Kona.

On with more pictures........there's thousands waiting......

Okay more pics... I was getting discouraged because after I upload them to Palmpedia they don't look as good as in my photo program (it has to do with my camera, the web, LCD monitor etc.)

Thanks for putting up the pictures. It's always good to see such happy palms. I almost feel bad for subjecting such noble creatures to my less than ideal central Florida climate. Almost but not quite enough to stop me from pushing the limits of palm growing! The photos are great! Thanks again -Justin

Well, the human specimens were just OK. Remember, I was not in the pics.

Palms, on the other hand, FANTASTIC!

Would it grow well in South FL? Do you have it available for sale?

Someone just recently posted a picture of theirs growing in his yard in Miami on Palm Talk. It looked pretty good to me.

I have some small ones coming along, they'll be in a 1gallon sometime early next year. I'm not sure when I will start selling them.

    Shon,

I probably shouldn't even comment because of how unsure I am. But I think that's another Moratia that was seen in the Jeff's Talking Story #2.

    Dean,

Beings this is an extreamly rare palm to have or see, and there are none here growing in south Florida, but I think you are correct.
