We had some epic rains in Plantation over the past week.Plants by the road have been under 8 ins of water for the past 2 days.Slowly draining now but maybe maybe more rain later??
We have been lucky so far. I hope the water drains off before it does any root damage to your incredible crotons. I believe I remember you getting flooded before and everything seemed to survive well, so I hope this is the same.CView attachment 36824 arol Graff with new flush
I have a few areas where the water really collects during times of flooding and results in standing water for days in the garden. That did a job on crotons and many other plants in those areas, with several not surviving. I have lost more plants from flooding than anything else. Luckily most of the gardens don't have this problem and do drain off more quickly even after heavy flooding. They will survive, sandy loam with good drainage
Wow that is fascinating. ;-/Fascination in the rainView attachment 36865
