We had some epic rains in Plantation over the past week.Plants by the road have been under 8 ins of water for the past 2 days.Slowly draining now but maybe maybe more rain later??

They will survive, sandy loam with good drainage
I have a few areas where the water really collects during times of flooding and results in standing water for days in the garden. That did a job on crotons and many other plants in those areas, with several not surviving. I have lost more plants from flooding than anything else. Luckily most of the gardens don't have this problem and do drain off more quickly even after heavy flooding.
