Hey all!! So I bought this croton at a place that didn't know anything about them. At 1st I thought it was a Petra that needed some love but after seeing some pics up here, I want to think it could possibly be Mackenzie. It was sickly when I got it & has dropped several leaves since.

Sorry Genifer, I think Scott is correct about it being Petra. MacKenzie is not rare but very uncommon. Its so uncommon that I have as of yet added one to my collection. Unfortunately for your location, not many uncommons will find their way up to your neck of the woods.

The Croton Matrix has you LOL :D It appears that a croton pilgrimage to Florida is in your future

Yes definitely to the pilgrimage to Florida. Just got 2 talk my hub into it. Why do you think it's so yellow? My Petra's growth is super green on the new part.

My favorite colors from Petra are from shade grown plants.

My Petra is very colorful & I noticed some pink on it today that I hadn't seen before. I guess the yellow looking one just needs some love to bring out it's colors.
