Thanks for the quick ID and this one is now tagged. When the rain stops today I will post another that I hope will also be easy.

Here is the other plant up for ID. This one was killed to the ground in the 2009-2010 cold. It no longer looks like the named plant is was purchased for ( in my eyes anyway) . This plant is growing in mostly full summer sun until very late afternoon. What do you think it is from these photos?
