Banner funded expressly in recognition and support of Tropiscape.
These 45 puppies were selected from a class of 1300 seedlings.
This guy is head & Shoulders above the others at this stage.
Jerry, Great looking class! If you run out of planting space you can always bring them up here as there is still plenty of planting space. Only problem they may freeze in the Winters. But then that will give them the cold hardy test.
Jerry, the colors on this one are almost fluorescent! So beautiful! The class looks like it will have a bunch of special ones for us to ooooh and ahhh about. Keep showing us, please!
Henry Coppinger, Ralph Davis, Robert Halgrim, John Bender, Al Cutler, Mike Fascell, Jerry Schilling - it may be time to start mentioning Jerry with these croton legends. Can anyone name a more prolific modern hybridizer?
Jerry - I know you are humble person but you need to start naming your seedlings that have made it to the third year. Frankly, I think your overdue naming a pretty croton after your pretty wife Brenda.
I thought this might be a good place post the name of the JLS Hyb.11120019 from the Glock meeting. Brenda and Jerry have a daughter named Jodi S. and I have an older sister named Colonel Jodi S. USAF. ret. That being said please welcome JODI S
Jody S. is gorgeous for sure, Lamar. Such incredible pinks!
Lamar, that is quite an honor! Thank you! How wonderful to share the name with your sister!
I think you made my dad pretty happy too! -Jodi
