One problem in trying to ID some crotons is the lack of a color picture. Until recently, color printing, film, copying, etc. was pretty expensive - or the technology did not exist.
So the best thing we have for some of the very old varities are color botanical prints, and here's a few from my own collection of lifted off eBay or some other public source. Any else have any to post???

I collect old botanical books but have yet to come across a croton. That first image is wonderful and I'd love to see that on a shirt! I remember Rick Leitner was on the hunt for old prints too.
